17. While teaching, I would like to be a free-lance interpreter as well.
18. I would not mind teaching in the Midwest, but I would prefer to be somewhere on the coast.
19. After teaching for a while, I hope to accomplish graduate work in Linguistics to achieve a Ph.D.
20. To achieve a Ph.D. I want to go to the Monterey Institute of International Studies for a master’s degree in Spanish Interpretation and Translation and then to the University of Chicago to finish off.

29. Throughout my life, my biological father has not played a major role. As much as I would have liked him to, I do not lose sleep over night because of it due to the fact that I have a wonderfully supported family on my Mother’s side and the best step-father anyone could ask for.
30. As a young adult, I was particularly rebellious. I liked to “test the waters” in middle school and during my Freshman year of high school. I quickly learned that rules are made for a reason, and they’re usually best left unbroken.
31. During my freshman year, I found comfort and deep interest in learning about other cultures whilst taking my first Spanish Class. This experience sparked the interest for learning and high achievement that I have today!Additional Personal Information

33. On my mother’s side, I have a once divorced, twice married, and once widowed grandmother named Aylene. She is one of the wisest and strongest people I have ever met! I was babysat by her until around the age of 10.
34. My mother has two sisters and one brother, and she is the youngest of the bunch. She is on her second marriage, and had my older sister at the age of 16; it was definitely a growing experience, and a great one at that!
35. Like mother, like daughter: my older sister had a child at about the same age. She has been engaged twice, but she has only married once. Her oldest child is her step-son. Despite all inhibitions, she is now a nurse and holds the position of Head Medical Director at a county jail, is happily married, and has the perfect life.Additional Personal Information
36. This is a photo of my older sister and I, bonding at a restaurant in Okoboji. This is a picture of my grandmother, my younger sister, and myself at a natural spring outside Homer, Nebraska (site of the O’Conner House, and my grandmother grew up there). Additional Personal Information
