Aljamain Sterling Makes Bold Claim On Henry Cejudo's UFC 292 Pullout
UFC Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling isn't convinced that Henry Cejudo truly intended to fight at UFC 292.
UFC 292 will be headlined by a 135-pound title fight between Sterling and Sean O'Malley on August 18. The title fight will be held inside TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Cejudo was also scheduled to take on Marlon "Chito" Vera, but "Triple C" was pulled from the card, as he is recovering from a shoulder issue.

What peeved Aljamain Sterling is the fact that Henry Cejudo initially called UFC President Dana White when "The Funkmaster" was unsure if he could make it for the O'Malley fight. Cejudo offered to step in and had some choice words for Sterling during that call with Dana.
In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, Sterling expressed his belief that Cejudo never truly had plans of fighting on the UFC 292 card.
"I don't know what Henry's doing now," Sterling said. "I know he's saying he's gonna need like three months to recover. Honestly, I think it was more of a cop out. I think he had no real intention of actually fighting in Boston. I think it was just more of a gimmicky thing for show to prove he's like this badass dude, weird."
