Farin is a results-driven proposal and legal professional with more than 10 years of experience in managed care. Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Farin served as Lead Proposal Writer for Elevance Health Inc. in Virginia Beach where she was responsible for the completeness, compliance, and quality of all proposal responses related to Corporate Background, Economic Impact, Staffing and Human Resources, Regulatory, Compliance, Legal, and more for Medicaid Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Additionally, Farin provided guidance and support to external writers on writing standards and response development. She started her career with Elevance as a Provider Contract Consultant and grew her writing, research, and leadership skills over the course of 10+ years to become the organization’s lead proposal writer.
Current Responsibility
As an Associate Director, Farin leads and directs complex Medicaid managed care Requests for Proposal (RFPs) client engagements, including pre-RFP strategic planning and proposal response development, for the Firm’s National Consulting Practice. She oversees all aspects of pre-RFP and RFP activities including quality assurance and establishes the strategic direction and vision for a high quality, compliant proposal submission that exceeds client expectations. Farin champions client relationships and leads the proposal development team including internal and external consultant resources.
