      Critics Consensus

With dazzling action sequences, fine writing, and believable characters, Alias sets 'em up and knocks 'em down as solid escapist television, even if the narrative grows confusing at times.

J Awesome premise, awesome TV. Worth the watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/03/23 Full Review l'fawn j a little too predictable but still good. I'd call it "popcorn" bc it's fun but not substantive. plus what kind of spy cries in every episode? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review joao a This is one of my favorite TV Series, a mix of action and espionage with a 15th Century "prophet". Some of the actors have here their best performance, which means the characters have room for it. Or at least some of them, there is a couple characters that look way off. Or just couldn't keep up with the others. I have seen it several times, and though there are mistakes that prevent it from being One-in-a-Kind, it is very good. Totally deserved a follow-up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review eden s Great action show with a good cast. In very happy that the show is finally available for streaming in my country. It did age pretty well considering it's over 20 years old. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review steve d A fantastic cast and some great twits Alias's first season should not be missed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This season was the best for giving Syd range she is a spy but also a grad student who has close friends she hangs out with parties with. I thought they could have introduced a couple more love interests and let us know how Fran, Syd and Will met. I feel like only Syd and Will had strong character development while everyone else was one dimensional in this season. I wish this milo rambaldi character that holds a strong influence over the show in its entirety would of been more credible by providing more evidence/ flashbacks to what he was working on and how it really relates to future events. I love the different disguises she works up and the wigs look very authentic for a show done in the 2000s. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
