Description
A slender species with stems of 30-45 cm and narrow whorled leaves. The flowers are borne in groups of one to three at the apex and are flared bells of jade green or light caramel with purple chequering which varies from light (usually), to heavy (rarer).
Despite the plain sounding colouring this is an attractive plant and one which is easily grown outside, in a sunny well-drained spot in the garden where it will perennate dependably.
