  • Alfa Romeo Spider

    The Alfa Romeo Spider is a roadster produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1966 to 1993โ€”with small run of 1994 models for the North American market. The Spider remained in production for almost three decades with only minor aesthetic and mechanical changes. The first three series were assembled by Pininfarina in Grugliasco and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese. The last Spider was produced in April 1993โ€”the last rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo before the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione of 2007. In May 2012, Fiat announced an agreement with Mazda to co-develop a new Spider for 2015 based on the Mazda MX-5 platform. The agreement was finalized in January 2013. The Spider nameplate originates from the English word "speeder", a two-person open horse-carriage.
  • The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a sports car produced by Italian automaker Alfa Romeo between 2007 and 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show and later released for sale for the 2007 model year. The name refers to the eight-cylinder engine and Alfa Romeo's racing pedigree. Alfa received over 1400 orders for the 8C after the official announcement that the car would enter production. However, only 500 customers ended up with the 8C Competizione and another 500 with the 8C Spider.

    The Alfa Romeo Brera and the Alfa Romeo Spider are two sports cars manufactured by Alfa Romeo respectively between 2005-2010 and 2006-2010. The Brera is a 2+2 coupรฉ, while the Spider is its roadster version. Both models were built by Pininfarina. 12,488 units of the Spider and 21,786 units of the Brera were built. Production of both models ended in late 2010, although remaining stock continued into 2011.
  • The Alfa Romeo 159 is a compact executive car produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo between 2005 and 2011. It was introduced at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show as a replacement for the 156. The 159 uses the GM/Fiat Premium platform, shared with the Alfa Romeo Brera and Spider production cars, and with the Kamal and Visconti concept cars. The 159 placed third in the 2006 European Car of the Year awards. Production of the 159 ended in late 2011, although it is still marketed in several countries. Around 240,000 cars were built.

    The Alfa Romeo 166 is an executive car produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo between 1998 and 2007. The car was designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo under the control of Walter de Silva and was facelifted in 2003.
  • The Alfa Romeo 8C name was used on road, race and sports cars of the 1930s. The 8C means 8 cylinders, and originally referred to a straight 8-cylinder engine. The Vittorio Jano designed 8C was Alfa Romeo's primary racing engine from its introduction in 1931 to its retirement in 1939. In addition to the two-seater sports cars it was used in the world's first genuine single-seat Grand Prix racing car, the Monoposto 'Tipo B' - P3 from 1932 onwards. In its later development it powered such vehicles as the twin-engined 1935 6.3-litre Bimotore, the 1935 3.8-litre Monoposto 8C 35 Type C, and the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Mille Miglia Roadster. It also powered top-of-the-range coach-built production models. In 2004 Alfa Romeo revived the 8C name for a V8-engined concept car which has made it into production for 2007, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione.
  • The Alfa Romeo 156 is a compact executive car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1997 to 2007. It was introduced at the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Alfa Romeo 155. Cars were assembled at Fiat Group factory in Pomigliano d'Arco, Italy and General Motors facility in Rayong, Thailand. Between 1997 and 2005, 680,000 156s were produced, a huge success for the brand. The 156 was available in saloon, Sportwagon estate and Crosswagon crossover bodystyles with seven engine configurations; it went through two facelifts, first in 2002 and then in 2003. The Sportwagon advertising campaign was made with actress Catherine Zeta-Jones. The 156 saloon was discontinued late in 2005 in Europe, the four-wheel drive Q4 Crosswagon was produced to the end of 2007. The 156 was replaced with 159, which also spawned the Brera, the two door coupe that replaces the Alfa Romeo GTV along with its convertible sister the new Spider. The 156 won the 1998 European Car of the Year award

    The Alfa Romeo MiTo is a three-door luxury supermini officially introduced on June 19, 2008, at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, Italy with an international introduction at the British Motor Show in 2008. The car was available in all Alfa's major markets in stages from July. The three-door hatchback is front-wheel drive and will be sold to compete with the MINI and the newer Audi A1. Designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, the design is believed to be inspired by the 8C Competizione. The MiTo is built on Fiat Small platform used on Fiat Grande Punto, also employed by the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa D. Between 2008 and 2012 around 200,000 Mitos were built.
  • The Alfa Romeo 2600 was Alfa Romeoยดs six-cylinder flagship produced from 1961 to 1968. It was the successor to the Alfa Romeo 2000. It has become historically significant as the last Alfa Romeo to have been fitted with an inline six-cylinder engine having twin overhead camshafts. That had been the traditional Alfa Romeo engine configuration since the 1920s, but gave way to four-cylinder engines as the factory oriented its production towards more economical mass-produced car models after the Second World War. The 2600 was introduced in the 1962 Geneva Motor Show, as a sedan with a factory-built body, a two-plus-two seater convertible with body by Carrozzeria Touring, and a coupe with a body by Bertone. A convertible based on the Sprint coupe was shown by Bertone in 1963. It was also named 2600 Sprint, but did not enter production. The 2600 SZ with fastback coupe bodywork by Zagato, and the limited-edition 2600 De Luxe with five-window sedan bodywork by OSI were introduced three years later in 1965 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
  • The Alfa Romeo 145 and the Alfa Romeo 146 are small family cars produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo in Pomigliano d'Arco, Italy between 1994 and 2000. The 145 is a three-door hatchback and was launched at the 1994 Turin Motor Show, while the 146 is a five-door hatchback, launched in 1995 to replace the Alfa Romeo 33. The 145 and 146 share design plans and interior components from the B-pillar forwards. 221,037 145s and 233,295 146s were built.
  • The Alfa Romeo 75, sold in North America as the Milano, is a compact executive car produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo between 1985 and 1992. The 75 was commercially quite successful: in only three years, 236,907 cars were produced, and by the end of production in 1992, around 386,767 had been built. The Alfa Romeo 75 was the last model released before Alfa Romeo was acquired by Fiat.

    The Alfa Romeo 147 is a small family car produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 2000 to 2010. The 147 was voted European Car of the Year in 2001, ahead of the Ford Mondeo and the Toyota Prius. The 147 was launched at the 2000 Turin Motor Show as a replacement for the Alfa Romeo 145 and 146 hatchbacks, and is based on the running gear of the larger 156 saloon. It was available with 1.6, 2.0, and 3.2-litre petrol engines and a 1.9-litre diesel engine. A sequential, paddle operated 'Selespeed' transmission was available from launch. Two trim levels were available, Turismo and Lusso. The 147 was the first Alfa Romeo to feature dual-zone climate control and electronic traction control. The model was in production for ten years, making it one of the oldest small family cars on sale in Europe at the time of its replacement by the Alfa Romeo Giulietta in late May 2010. In total around 580,000 cars were made.
  • The Alfa Romeo 155 is a compact executive car produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo between 1992 and 1998. It was released in January 1992 in Barcelona and the first public launch was in March 1992 at the Geneva Motor Show. It was built in 192,618 units.
  • The Alfa Romeo Disco Volante known also as 1900 C52, is a concept car series with production starting from 1952. The cars were racing car concepts with mechanics from the Alfa Romeo 1900 and made in collaboration with Milan based coachbuilder Touring. The engine was a slightly tuned 1900 engine now producing 158 bhp. The car was very streamlined, windtunnel tested, and the body was built on a tubular space frame. This aerodynamic shape made a top speed of 220 kilometres per hour possible. Three different body styles were made: one open seater and two different coupรฉ styles. There was even a 3.5 L version made for Juan Manuel Fangio. None of these automobiles ever attained to the status of truly successful racing cars although they were tried a few times, with one victory having been taken at the Gran Premio Supercortemaggiore. According to some the design of the Jaguar E-type has some design cues similar to the Disco Volante. The unique 3.5-liter car is preserved in the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile in Turin; two 2.0-liter prototypes are preserved in the Alfa Romeo museum in Arese and are regularly used in classic car races.
  • The Alfa Romeo 164 is a four-door executive saloon manufactured and marketed by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo from 1987 to 1998 and styled Enrico Fumia at Pininfarina. Unveiled at the 1987 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 164 was the last model to be developed while the Alfa Romeo was still a fully independent company, and was formally launched a few months after Fiat purchased the company. The 164 was superseded by the Alfa Romeo 166 in 1998 after 273,857 had been produced.

    The Alfa Romeo Arna is a small family car produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo Nissan Autoveicoli S.p.A. between 1983 and 1987. The company was founded on 9 October 1980 as a 50:50 joint venture between the Italian Alfa Romeo S.p.A. and the Japanese Nissan Motor Company.
  • The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a sports saloon which was produced by Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1962 to 1978. Alfa Romeo was one of the first manufacturers to put a powerful engine in a light-weight car for mainstream production. The Giulia weighed about 1,000 kilograms. The car was equipped with a light alloy twin overhead camshaft four-cylinder engine, similar to that of the earlier Giulietta models range. Engine capacities offered were 1.3-litre or 1.6-litre. Various configurations of carburetors and tuning produced power outputs from about 80 to about 110 bhp. Almost all Giulias made had a 5-speed manual transmission. Giulias were noted for their lively performance among sedans of that era, especially considering the modest engine size. The popular Super version with the twin carburettor 1.6 litre engine had a top speed of 170 km/h. 0 to 100 km/h took about 12 seconds. This performance was better than many sports cars of the late 1960s and early 1970s. When leaving the factory all variations of the Giulia originally fitted either Pirelli Cinturato 165HR14 tyres or Pirelli Cinturato 155HR15 tyres.
  • The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was a compact automobile manufactured by the Italian car maker Alfa Romeo from 1954 to 1965. The Giulietta was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1954 and almost 132,000 were built in the Portello factory in Milan. When leaving the Portello factory it originally fitted Pirelli Cinturato 155HR15 tyres. The first Giulietta model was a coupรฉ, the Giulietta Sprint, introduced in late 1954. This was followed by a sedan in spring 1955 and in mid 1955, the open two-seat Giulietta Spider, featuring convertible bodywork by Pininfarina. In 1957 more powerful Berlina version, called Giulietta TI was presented with minor cosmetic changes to the hood, the dial lights and rear lamps. Carrozzeria Colli also made the Giulietta station wagon variant called Giulietta Promiscua. Ninety-one examples of this version were built. Carrozzeria Boneschi also made a few station wagon examples called Weekendina.
  • Alfa Romeo GT

    The Alfa Romeo GT is a sports car produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo between 2003 and 2010. A total of 80,832 units were produced. The GT was introduced in March 2003 Geneva Motor Show and it came for sale in Italian markets January 2004. It was built at the Pomigliano plant, southern Italy, alongside the 147 and 159.
  • The Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 was a sports racing prototype raced by the Alfa Romeo factory-backed team between 1967 and 1977. These cars took part for Sport Cars World Championship, Nordic Challenge Cup, Interserie and CanAm series. A small number of road going cars were derived from it in 1967, called Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. With the 33TT12 Alfa Romeo won the 1975 World Championship for Makes, and with the 33SC12 the 1977 World Championship for Sports Cars, taking the first place in all eight of the championship races.
  • Alfa Romeo 6C

    The Alfa Romeo 6C name was used on road, race, and sports cars that were made between 1925 and 1954 by Alfa Romeo. 6C refers to a straight 6 engine. Bodies for these cars were made by coachbuilders such as James Young, Zagato, Touring, Castagna, and Pininfarina. Starting from 1933 there was also a 6C version with a factory Alfa body, built in Portello. In the early 1920s Vittorio Jano got a task to create a lightweight, high performance vehicle to replace the Giuseppe Merosi designed RL and RM models. The car was introduced in April 1925 at the Salone dellโ€™ Automobile di Milano as the 6C 1500. It was based on the P2 racing car, using single overhead cam 1,487 cc inline six-cylinder motor producing 44 horsepower, in the 1928 was presented the 1500 Sport which was the first Alfa Romeo road car with double overhead camshafts.
  • The Alfa Romeo GTV and Alfa Romeo Spider were two sports cars produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1995 to 2006. It is also known by Alfa Romeo's internal designation 916. The GTV is a 2+2 coupรฉ, and the Spider is a two-seater roadster version of the GTV. Around 39,000 Spider and 41,700 GTVs were built from 1993 to 2004. The GTV's name placed it as the successor to the long-discontinued Alfetta GTV coupรฉ, whereas the Spider was effectively the replacement for the then 30 year-old Giulia Spider. The GTV was available until the launch of the Brera in 2005, while the Spider lasted another year until the launch of its Brera-based successor in 2006. Alfa Romeo GTV is listed at no. 29 in Jeremy Clarkson's Top 100 Cars from 2001.
  • The Alfa Romeo Montreal is a 2+2 coupรฉ automobile produced by the Italian manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1970 to 1977.
  • The Alfa Romeo 90 is an executive car produced by the Italian automaker Alfa Romeo between 1984 and 1987.
  • The Alfa Romeo Alfasud is a small family car manufactured by Industria Napoletana Costruzioni Autoveicoli Alfa Romeo-Alfasud S.p.A of Italy from 1971 to 1989, a new company owned by Alfa Romeo and Finmeccanica. The company was based in the poor southern region of Italy as a part of labour policy of the government. It is considered one of Alfa Romeo's most successful models, with 893,719 examples sold between 1972 and 1983 plus 121,434 Sprint coupรฉ versions between 1976 and 1989. A common nickname for the car is โ€™Sud. The car went through two facelifts, first in 1977 and the second one in 1980.
  • Alfa Romeo RM was produced between 1923โ€“1925, it was based on RL model. Car was introduced first time in 1923 Paris Motor Show and total production was around 500 cars. RM had 2.0 L straight-4 engine, which produced between 40 bhp to 48 bhp. As most of Alfa Romeo cars this was also used in racing purpose. Three versions was made: Normal, Sport and Unificato. Sport had raised compression ratio and Unificato had longer wheelbase and slightly bigger engine. RM top speed was around 90 km/h.
