This is probably my favourite poem from "Scary Poems for Rotten Kids 2". Very short, and very funny!

From my garbage can! ... here is a horrible illustration I did about 20 years ago for a proposed new version of the original collection of Scary Poems. This was for a poem called "the Dinner Party". It was a collage of paper drawings and digital graphics.

Scary Poems for Rotten Kids. *sigh* I grew up on this stuff: Look at those birds, my little friend. Especially the one at the end. What does it have caught in its beak? What makes that sad pathetic squeak? Oh look, there are two little legs. ...And a tiny face that begs and begs. "Oh, let me go!" I think it said. Good heavens, that's my Uncle Fred :(
