Mosman Park: Driver rescued after ploughing vehicle through Coles multi-storey car park

A Perth driver has had a lucky escape after ploughing her car through a fence and landing on top of another vehicle one metre below.

The scary incident unfolded at a Coles in Mosman Park on Friday morning.

It is believed the woman accidentally placed her white Toyota sedan into drive instead of reverse, causing her to accelerate through a metal fence at the western suburbs shopping centre.

After smashing through the fence, the woman’s car then landed on top of an empty Lexus hatchback parked below.

The driver of the Toyota became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be rescued by emergency services, but managed to walk away with no injuries.
