Recife maracatu alfaias are professional range. Measurements: 16" x 30cm. The shell is made with 5 sheets of birch wood (8 mm) thick that guarantee the best sound quality. The hoops are made of solid beech that provide greater durability.
You can hear its sound in this video recorded with an 18" Alfaia Recife to which we installed a muffle on one of the heads to have 2 different sounds.
