Biography: Steve Buscemi is an American actor known for his prolific television and film career, including noteworthy roles in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs (1992) and as Enoch "Nucky" Thompson in Boardwalk Empire (2010-2014).

Buscemi has collaborated often with the Coen brothers, Joel Cohen and Ethan Cohen, including Fargo (1996) and The Big Lebowski (1998). He has also featured in a number of major telelvision series such as The Sopranos, 30 Rock, and Portlandia.

Before his acting career, Buscemi worked as a firefighter in New York City. He is renowned for returning to this role as a volunteer in the weeks following the September 11 attacks.
