The Ameristar made by Trane Air Conditioner also known as the AC Unit is the Outdoor unit in a HVAC System. It provides Cooling Only when connected to the Evaporator Coil. The M4AC50 is fully charged from the factory the unit is designed to operate at outdoor ambient temperatures as high as 115°F. Cooling capacities are matched with air handlers and furnace coils that are AHRI certified. The unit is certified to ETL. Exterior is designed for outdoor application.

Plus, it’s got weather-resistant powder paint and has been 500-hour salt spray tested. That’s ruggedness you can count on. The scroll compressor is as efficient as they come, with low vibration and noise – so no annoying humming sounds while you’re trying to enjoy a quiet evening. It also features an ECM condenser fan motor and a coil that provides low airflow resistance and efficient heat transfer. All of this is housed within a compact unit with dimensions that easily fit into my outdoor setup. I’ve gotta say, I’m sold on this one.
