For some, Holly Valance is best known for her hit song, Kiss Kiss, for others it's her role as Felicity 'Flick' Scully on Neighbours that made her a star. The 40-year-old, whose real name is Holly Rachel Vukadinović, has worked as both a singer and an actress over the years. She was born to a Serbian father and a British mother and spent her early years in Australia, doing modelling work as a teenager. In 1999 she was cast in Neighbours and remained on the show until 2002 when she left to pursue music.
Kiss Kiss was actually an English cover of a Turkish song, but it hit number one in the UK charts. Her second single, Down Boy then peaked at number 2 in the charts. Valance kept making music for two years, until in 2004 she decided she was no longer interested in it and she chose to return to her acting career instead.
From 2004 to 2013 she starred in a number of shows and films from Prison Break, and CSI: Miami to Taken. In 2011 she also gave reality television a shot, taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. Valance was paired with Artem Chigvinstev, who had won series 8 of the show. The two of them danced their way into the semi-final, but sadly were eliminated and didn't take home the Glitterball trophy. The actress then went on to become a judge of the fashion competition Shopaholic Showdown.
This was the last television show she was a part of before stepping out of the spotlight and taking a hiatus in order to spend more time with her family and focus on charity work instead. Outside of her career, Valance has been in a relationship with billionaire British property developer Nick Candy since 2010.
The pair wed in a lavish £3million wedding in Beverly Hills, with Katy Perry serenading their 300 guests which included the likes of Simon Cowell, Nancy Dell'Olio and Tracy Emin. Several members of the Royal Family were also in attendance for their big day, with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie there with their mother, Sarah, Duchess of York. Valance wore a stunning J'Aton dress with an extravagant train to say I do which cost a whopping £35,000.
They've since welcomed two daughters together, Luka and Nova, and previously the family split their time between a £75million penthouse flat in London and a property in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. However, it's since been reported that they've swapped these homes for a quieter life in the Cotswolds, with a home in Chipping Norton.
Since leaving behind full-time acting, Valance has been working as an ambassador for The Children's Trust and along with her husband she runs a foundation which focuses on children with disabilities. She did also recently make a cameo appearance in what was intended to be the last-ever episode of Neighbours. Although the show has since been rebooted.
