Midea Smart 8,000 BTU DOE (12,000 BTU ASHRAE) Portable AC, Remote Control,for rooms up to 350 sq ft

As hot days approach glad I have this. I don't want to spend $$ cooling down the whole house so this is compact and does the job! Keeps my bedroom cool and very small that's it's not an eye sore.

I got the portable AC from Midea Company for free in exchange for writing an honest review. I use portable AC because my daughter's room is above a garage and it is very hot all summer. Our home AC system can't do a job well in this room. This AC has some cool features I found useful: 1. It has a very compact size and fits well in a small room 2. It isn't loud, so we are using it at night 3. Easy to install because of the clear user manual. 4. It downed room temperature by 10F just in 20 minutes. 5. Made of good quality materials and looks pretty durable 6. It has its own app and voice control, which is very convenient and impressive. You can dynamically adjust the temperature while sleeping for each hour; set up your favorite modes and have one-touch activation for it; and program a schedule of how the AC will operate. 7. It has a dehumidifier which is very convenient to have in one equipment. I love this AC so much, that I am not going to use my old one anymore, although there were no complaints against him.

This a/c is meant for a smaller area but it cools my large living room down just fine. I am so happy this a/c is smaller than another I have that is long and wide and barely fits anywhere, this one fits in way more places. It's easy to set up with only a few parts to put together and since it's so compact, if I ever need ti empty the a/c will be much easier to do so it also comes with a hose! I am so glad this portable a/c exists!!

I have to say I am really very impressed with not only the brand overall, but also the quality of the product.. It works really well and cools very fast. I would absolutely recommend trying this.

Midea gave me the opportunity to try this 6000 btu portable air conditioner for free for my honest review. I really enjoyed using this air conditioner. I like that it has three different options on it from air conditioning to fan to dehumidifier which is nice because when it's just not that hot out yet and don't have a fan this works great. For those really hot days you can switch it right to air conditioning and when its allergy season or someone in your home has asthma this works great for dehumidity your home. I like that it has a remote control to be able to set what temperature you want it at and even has a 24 hour on and off timer and a sleep mode so you don't have to wake up to turn it off or down. It was easy to put together. The manual was great it was very detailed and took you step by step on putting it together and how to program the remote. It also tells you where it needs to be placed and how far away from walls and objects. You do have to manually clean the filter which is reusable and the water tray and you also have to manually add water to it which wasn't that bad or inconveniencing. It comes with a safety lock for your window which is a nice and it comes with a window kit so no bugs can get in or other animals. It has 4 moving wheels which makes it nice to either move it around or to move it to another room. This is good for small areas like a one bedroom apartment or studio or one room in your home. It will cool off 250 square feet of space. Over all I really do recommend this it will keep you cool on those hot days.

The perfect size for not being too heavy and for taking up minimal space. I'm in Florida so doubling as a dehumidifier is great! It also offers ventilation, which is nice with it being used in a workshop because sometimes there are strong odors from chemicals, fumes and paints and this helps clean the air. The app is really a great feature so he can turn it on 30 mins before he heads out to the workshop without having to do it manually, and the temperature is perfect when he gets there. He listens to music in there and the unit is quiet enough where it doesn't interfere. It's very easy to install with the window panel kit that comes with the unit and it can be easily removed as there is no permanent alteration. I really did not have extremely high hopes for this portable air conditioner because I have tried many in the past and they did not cool my front room down at all. This one went above and way beyond my expectations. Not only did it cool the hottest room in my house down which is my 2nd living room/kitchen area. It cooled it down even with my oven and stove on! Right now in Fresno, Ca it's in the high 80's. It's not the way unbearable heat yet where my regular air conditioner is on 24/7 because even the nights are outrageous. This portable air conditioner cooled the rooms and more as promised it's getting us through the days without having to turn our regular a/c on at all! It was very easy to set up and easy to learn how to control it from the unit itself, the convenient remote control and best of all the app you can install on your phone! I am planning on purchasing a second one for the other side of my house and I will see how long I can go without having to turn on my regular a/c. The portable Air Conditioner by Midea packs a cooling punch! I set the device to 75 degrees on a sunporch that gets direct sunlight on an 80-degree day and after about 20 minutes, the room was comfortable enough to sit and read in! I am pleased with the air conditioner as it has created an option to enjoy my sunroom even in the summer and can get even cooler by lowering the temperature! The setup of the device was quick and easy and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

THis unit is quite and works very well at cooling down a large room or area. very easy to plug in and setup the vent.If you are looking for a portable AC unit you will love this one. I received this to test and give a honest review.
