Biography
At various times throughout Immortal's existence, Abbath was lead vocalist, bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, drummer, and lyricist, mainly due to the inconsistent line-ups they were able to put together. Trivia
Euronymous of Mayhem is credited with getting Abbath into black metal and Abbath is in turn credited with doing the same for Varg Vikernes of Burzum.Abbath used to be married to Demonaz's sister Merete Winther and has one son with her.
