Confirmation of their engagement came as a surprise to the movie world. Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton had finally found love after more than 10 years of friendship and are enjoying the best of times.

The actress and movie director seem to be perfect for each other, as she confirmed in a recent magazine interview, where she spoke about various topics, such as fame, her relationship with Tim Burton and her devotion and admiration for him.

Last June, Monica Bellucci made, what was an open secret, her engagement to filmmaker Tim Burton official.

It was the actress's first known relationship, after 14 years of marriage to Vincent Cassel, with whom she had two children: Dela, 18, and Léoni, 13. She also had another relationship with Nicolas Lefebvre.

Monica Bellucci spoke exclusively to Harper's Bazaar magazine, where she is the cover star, and discussed all the issues related to her current partner, the film director.

"Let's say that I found in Tim a wonderful spirit, a spectacular soul, someone that he has a dream world," Bellucci said. "He is wonderful, of course he is, of course he is ... "

They'll work together on 'Beetlejuice 2'.

And in an earlier interview in June with Elle, she was full of admiration for her partner and is looking forward to working together.

"What I can say... I'm glad I met the man, first of all," she said. "It's one of those encounters that rarely happens in life... I know the man, I love him, and now I'm going to meet the director, another adventure begins.

"I love Tim. And I have great respect for Tim Burton."

Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci met more than 15 years ago at the Cannes Film Festival, but only started dating last October while attending a film festival in Lyon.
