What is The Macintosh Demo Games CD?

A CD collection of game demos that came bundled with the AppleCD external CD-ROM drive. The CD was part of a renewed push by Apple to embrace the games, entertainment, and education markets, which also involved the creation of the Macintosh Performa line and a dedicated games evangelist position within the company. Over 2,000 retailers received copies of the CD for use on in-store demo computers.

This CD was often bundled with its Applications counterpart; The Macintosh Demo Applications CD.
