Ein Akev spring - Negev Desert

This beautiful place is in the midlle of the desert, not far from Sde Boker.
It is a pool located in the Akev dry stream and it has a small spring filling it all year round.
There is also the Ovdat spring next to it but that is for another pos 😉

We got there with our SUV and walked for about 5 kilometers for fun.
The water was not so clean so this time we did not enter but you can see in the photos that other people did 😁

The Spring is very known in the area and easy to find so in the holidays you can see many people around.

* No entrance fee if you are not going to visit the bigger Ovdat spring
* Please keep the area clean
* Protected reserve

Re: Ein Akev spring - Negev Desert

After Birkat Tzfira (here in your post) now with Ein Akev you continue your long series of amazing post about the Negev Desert, showing us that we really need to explore the area, forgetting the cliché that "in the desert there is nothing".

Van you please add the Google Maps link of Ein Akev in your post, for the community to be able to see where the place is located?

Great photo, Joni, but we are used to this aspect of your contributions.

Thanks a lot for sharing the beauty with us
