Case study: Cogitar

Case study: Cogitar

What was the challenge?

Cogitar received a specific requirement from the management of a large water and sewage company, the need to evaluate the IT platform and the performance of IT operations.

Why we were chosen?

Newbridge and Cogitar have a long history of partnership, namely in assessments and strategic plans of information systems in public administration, health and culture clients, allowing to take advantage of the methodology previously adopted and activating the joint team of previous projects.

How did we stand out?

Newbridge put its 360 IS/IT diagnostics into practice, allowing for a quick overview of the platform and IT operations. The different aspects observed were grouped into 6 categories, making it possible to find common causes of problems and facilitating the presentation of conclusions. An action plan was established to implement the recommended actions, with details of the calendar and those responsible.

What were the results?

The project report, including the diagnosis, recommendations and action plan, was praised by the client and, as a result, Newbridge was invited to carry out the next step, a strategic plan for information systems, allowing to reconcile the internal analysis carried out with an analysis of the external context of the client.
