Jagannath Puri is a famous pilgrimage site located in the state of Odisha, India. One of the mysteries associated with Jagannath Puri is the presence of a submerged temple in the sea, known as the "Lost Temple of Prabhu Jagannath." According to legend, the temple was built by King Indradyumna, who wanted to build a grand temple for BHAGWAN Jagannath, but he was not able to find a suitable place on land. One night, Prabhu Jagannath appeared in his dream and told him that he would find a floating log on the shores of Puri, which he should carve into an image of Prabhu Jagannath and build a temple around it. The King followed Prabhu Jagannath's instructions and built the temple on the shores of Puri, which is now known as the Jagannath Temple. However, it is said that the original temple built by King Indradyumna was later submerged in the sea due to natural calamities. Many people believe that the submerged temple still exists in the sea and can be seen during certain times of the year when the tides are low. However, there is no concrete evidence to support this claim, and it remains a mystery.
