The contrast between my background in production engineering and the subjects covered in Sustainable Energy and Resources Engineering course #SERE has presented me with a unique set of challenges and opportunities for growth. I am truly grateful that you recognized something in me and offered me the chance to delve into new fields. This experience has been immensely enlightening, broadening my perspective and expanding my knowledge in ways I never thought possible. 🌟 A Flashback to Higher Secondary: The Moment that Ignited a Dream 🎓 Hello everyone, Today, something incredible happened. I was going about my day when, out of nowhere, a vivid memory from my higher secondary days at NHSS Peradala came rushing back to me. It was a moment that changed the course of my life, and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you. Back in those days, I was just a curious student, navigating the world of textbooks and exams, much like many of you are today. But there was one event, one unforgettable spark, that set my journey on an entirely different trajectory. It was the birth of something special, something I lovingly named EduMeTech 📱, short for "Educate Me Through Technology and Science." This project, which seemed like a distant dream at the time, was a humble attempt to make quality education accessible to all, especially students like myself pursuing higher secondary in the science stream. What makes this memory even more remarkable is that EduMeTech was not a product of complex coding but was built using MIT App Inventor, a platform that relies on the power of imagination and logic, without writing a single line of code. EduMeTech became a heaven for online educational materials, offering mind maps, notes, video lectures, and a space for our incredible teachers to share their knowledge. And here's the remarkable part: I created EduMeTech during the COVID-19 lockdown, during a time of uncertainty and challenges for many. It was my way of contributing and making a positive impact when it was needed most. As I reflect on this journey, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering support of my school and teachers, who believed in my vision and encouraged me every step of the way. This memory wasn't just about creating an app; it was about discovering my passion for technology and education. It shaped my decision to pursue a degree in Computer Science Engineering. Today, I share this memory not only to reminisce but to remind all of us that life-changing moments often come when we least expect them.
