🔎 We are looking back at an incredible experience in Berlin at the 2nd MPS World Summit!   This is our summary of a fantastic event, which included topics such as disease modelling, toxicology and drug efficacy, and standardization:   The event was a true gathering of 𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧-𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲. Over 1,300 participants converged to discuss the latest developments in microphysiological systems, share knowledge and establish connections that will help advance biomedical research and discovery.   The team at Bi/ond connected with numerous industry experts, researchers, and professionals from both the pharmaceutical sector and academia and had the opportunity to 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧-𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 sessions(*):   📗 The first poster delved into the intricacies of microfabrication, demonstrating our mastery of 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.   📘 The second poster explored 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬, showcasing our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable data.   📙 Finally, our third poster focused on the biology aspect of our Organ-on-Chip technology, emphasizing the potential for breakthroughs in 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.   Furthermore, our chips took the spotlight during a captivating presentation related to the #M4M project (Sandro Meucci, Micronit) , and they were also used to showcase how the TOP Platform works, during an educational workshop (https://lnkd.in/ed9UwMyK)   For Bi/ond, MPS World Summit was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 of our Organ-on-Chip platform in real-world applications - such as MPS vascularization - ; to witness the progression of the field into viable 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬; and to harness connections that we hope will develop into 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in the near future.
