I’m proud to present BII’s annual impact report! Driven by the dedicated and talented employees at BioInnovation Institute and our collaborators and partners, we have scaled up our activities to support even more companies in our programs and bring their research to market. Not long ago, we reached a total of 100 companies participating in our programs. On average, the companies we support leverage BII’s financial support with 5, and we also start to see companies bringing impactful products to the market. The greater ecosystem should celebrate this as it showcases the innovation potential, and it also underlines the importance of BII and how we should continue pushing the boundaries of further utilizing this potential to create workplaces in Denmark and to benefit human and planetary health. I had a conversation with Giacomo Cavalli, the orchestrator of the Federated Innovation Model at the MIND Milano Innovation District. We explored how MIND is driving innovation, and the importance of a comprehensive governance model for growth and competitiveness.
