Women's health concerns are often overlooked by medical and mental health professionals, leading to misdiagnosis and prolonged suffering. As someone who has personally experienced this, I strive to provide a safe space for my clients to receive proper diagnosis and treatment. It's time for our field to do better at listening to our female clients and not just labeling them with "anxiety." Recently, one of my clients, who had been in therapy for six years and came to me for a second opinion, was found to have a slow-growing brain tumor after I referred her to a neurologist. Let's work together to prioritize the health and well-being of all our clients, regardless of gender. #womenshealth #mentalhealthawareness
