Whose side hustle this year has become more of a half hustle? Or even just another full time job? My side hustle (intuitive readings) that was 10% of my income in 2021 and 20% of my income in 2022, is now closer to 30-35% of my income in 2023. My individual readings are now also booked through June 2024. People keep asking me when my side hustle will become my main hustle... I don't know. I still love my comms consulting/personal branding job too much and am too good at it to just focus on the side hustle. And, it gives me variety. Something new and different every day to look forward to. What are your thoughts on multiple income streams giving you professional power and autonomy? Does it come at a cost to your personal life and any sense of balance? Lots to think about as we roll into 2024... #goodadvice #sidehustle #worklifebalance #2024planning

How to prioritize and plan when balancing a full-time job and a side hustle 👇🏽 First thing you always want to ensure is that you are giving 110% at your job. This doesn't mean working late nights, but it means when you're at work, be at work and be productive at work. Depending on what you do, for most people setting priorities and deciding on what to do and when to do it isn’t necessarily your responsibility, and if it is, it is a team effort. Your job is to ensure that you are being productive in your area of expertise. Now when it comes to your side hustle, you need to focus on What, When, How; 🌹 What: Set goals for what your want to achieve in your business. Evaluate where you are now and determine where you want to be. Be realistic but also challenge yourself 🌹 When: Put a time stamp to your goal. If you're still trying to figure out what you want to do, set a time frame of when you should have a solid idea of what you want to do. Be realistic. Remember you have a full-time job, so you need to first determine how much time you can allocate towards your side hustle in a day or week. 🌹 How: Create a plan on the steps you need to take to get there. Determine what can be a DIY and what can be outsourced. Leverage outsourcing as much as you can, this frees up so much time for you to focus on other rather important things. If you found this helpful, please save, share with others, and share your thoughts in the comments below. #productivity #prioritization #womenentrepreneurs #planning #mkclaura

What should professionals consider before starting a side hustle? Here are 3 crucial things to look out for 👇 Before I go ahead, do you know many 9 - 5ers have side hustles? Yes. Especially in this economy, professionals have a side business (es) which they do to augment the salary they get. But this post is not about what you know already. The question is what should you consider as a professional before you start a side hustle? Here are three things: 🔴 1. If it conflicts with your actual job: On no account is your side hustle allowed to conflict with your actual job. It is a conflict of interest and your company may actually fire or sue you in this scenario. 🟢 2. If it consumes too much of time: Let’s face it. If your side hustle consumes too much time, isn’t it a full job then? Your side hustle should not consume so much time that you end up not doing your actual job well. 🟣 3. If you enjoy doing it: Another truth here is your side hustle should actually be an activity you enjoy. Hating it or doing it just for money may make you detest it in the long run. Now you know this, how do you go about looking for clients for your side hustles? Join me today in our webinar at Career Women Africa. We would be sharing how you can get clients for your side hustles while doing a good job at your actual job. However, the webinar is exclusively for members of our community. To join our community, you pay only N1000 per month as membership fee. Use this link: #osytalks

We all need a side hustle! 💪 Even when you think you have no time for it. I've been through several corporate restructurings, but not the last one. Those who did survive aren't safe forever. In today's world, relying on one skill set or working one job until retirement is unrealistic. Why have a side hustle? 1. It makes you a more interesting person ↳ It is boring when all you can talk about is your job. 2. It helps you learn new stuff outside your main gig. ↳ Makes you a more well-rounded person. 3. It expands your network ↳ We don't always want to hang out with colleagues for a drink. 4. It can potentially replace your full-time job ↳ Or be a safety net if you lose that job. 5. It fulfills a passion or interest not met by your full-time job ↳ Or provides intellectual challenge if your job is boring. Which one resonates with you? (1-5) 🙋♀️ Repost ♻ if you agree with this! P.S. I was a Somm after work for a bit... What's your side hustle? 👇

We're Helping Thousands of Hard Working People To Switch It Up And Become Entrepreneurs With No Previous Experience and creating profitable second stream of income!
4 secrets of successful side hustles: 1️⃣ Share your side hustle with your boss. Show them how the skills you learn from your side hustle can benefit your day job. This can make you more valuable to the company while emphasizing that your day job is still your top priority. 2️⃣ Don't be afraid to ask for help. Life is unpredictable, especially during a pandemic. Being transparent about your challenges can help you and your side business thrive. Express where and how you need support. 3️⃣ Be strategic with your time. Treat your side hustle as a business by scheduling specific tasks for specific times. Time blocking can help you make the most of your non-work hours. 4️⃣ Don't quit your day job without a plan. Not everyone dreams of leaving their 9-to-5. If you do, make sure you have enough savings and that your side hustle is generating enough income to support you before taking the leap. #linkedin #linkedinfamily #linkedinconnection
