Harvard President Claudine Gay was recently absolved of charges of plagiarism in articles written between 1993-2017 (!) after an internal investigation conducted by the university. Instead, she was cited for “instances of inadequate citation”. So, in addition to her completely spineless ‘leadership’, embarrassing testimony before Congress and laughably light CV for one in such a position- we now learn that the meager academic output she did manage to muster was largely plagiarized. Oops, sorry, suffered from ‘inadequate citation’. I am delighted, though, that Harvard’s Board of Trustees has decided to stand by her. She was and is the right choice to lead this once prestigious institution down the road to perdition.
