Embracing the exciting challenge of spearheading the APAC market expansion, centered in Melbourne. The Australian market, in particular, is distinguished by its need for high quality technical support during the selling phase for large-scale installations, a critical factor in driving success. EKS is at a pivotal moment of growth, making a significant global impact in the power converter industry. With the help of a high expertise level team, the primary objective of this role is to expedite growth and enhance our presence in the region, eventually leading a team of application engineers in the area to solidify our market leadership in the medium term. It has been almost 8 years in Schneider Electric. Specially last year in the global microgrid team, fully dedicated to build a strong community capable of supporting the business around the world, I feel how my professionals skills have grown, specially thanks to the received guidance, support and example from my managers Jérémie Gobin and Francisco Barcelo Barcelo. During this years also, I have been fortunate to meet a lot of incredible people, both personally and professionally. I am taking with me a great corporate culture, a vast amount of knowledge, and among everything, a lot of affection. Thank you all so much. Now I feel that I can bring all this experience and knowledge somewhere else. It is time to take a new adventure, a new challenge and a new continent. Exciting news for those curious about the impact of Large Language Models on the labor market. The recent paper 'GPTs are GPTs: An Early Look at the Labor Market Impact Potential of Large Language Models' sheds light on the potential impact of these models on various occupations. The authors analyze the potential impact of LLMs on 18 different occupations, including lawyers, teachers, accountants, and journalists. They find that while some jobs may benefit from LLMs by reducing repetitive and time-consuming tasks, others may experience job displacement or wage reductions due to automation. In the following table is shown in percentages the impact per occupation of introducing these LLMs in the specific sector.
