📈IT sphere will continue to grow but get prepared for challenges The IT market has been growing over the last few years: businesses set up huge budgets for tech-related projects and gain even more profit💰In 2022, about 61% of companies expect to increase their income. Some giants have already revealed their achievements for the first quarter of 2022. For example, Slack showed impressive results: over $273 million of revenue, 36% better than the previous year. Of course, the coronavirus consequences will impact the global economy, the IT sector in particular. Lockdowns and a temporary standstill will affect the availability of technological products and components. According to a survey by SWZD, 40% of companies will face the following challenges in 2022: - Limited product availability❗ - Delays in delivery (logistical problems)🚐 - Increase in prices for IT products💲 - Chip shortages💻 Luckily, such turbulence won’t be there forever: everything will get back to normal in 12 months 😌 Do you agree with this prediction? 3 tips for dealing with "We'll call you back!" After finding the vacancy, applying, chatting with the recruiter, diving into project details, and getting even more interested, the recruiter closes with, "We'll be in touch." Will they call you back or was it a soft "no"? The response is 🤷♀️ But there are three things you can do to up your chances of keeping the conversation going 👌 ☝️Mention other interviews. Let them know you're exploring options with other companies. If they're interested, they'll likely move faster to keep you in the loop. ☝️☝️Ask about timelines. Find out when to expect a response after the interview, preferably towards the end of the conversation. ☝️☝️☝️Follow up. Be proactive and don't wait solely on the employer.
