If you have a pet, you know just how painful it is when they become sick.   You also likely know how important it is to their recovery to give them the right medications in the right dose at the right time.   As a pharmacy intern who compounds special animal formulations in a veterinary hospital, Madison King, Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate has learned the ins and outs of preparing and administering these medications in the safest, most effective manner.   In this month's 𝗥𝘅𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲™, Madison sheds light on her experiences in veterinary pharmacy and outlines the rewards, challenges, and key considerations of pursuing work in this field.
