Handcrafted in Chico, Woodworkers

Chico boasts a number of incredibly accomplished woodworkers among the art community. I wanted this print to honor them and their skill working with wood, but also to honor the wood itself, walnut, oak, maple . . . Chico is also home to a rich variety of wood and to see what local woodworkers can create out of locally sourced material only adds to the final product. Michael Sterling and Tony Montoya are two friends whose work I admire, and their generosity to me over the years I am forever grateful for.
