JACKSONVILLE – Each week during the 2023 season, Jaguars "experts" – Tony Boselli, Frank Frangie, Jeff Lageman, Brent Martineau, John Oehser, Brian Sexton, J.P. Shadrick and Kainani Stevens – will analyze the following day's Jaguars matchup.

Up this week:

The Indianapolis Colts at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville.

Tony Boselli, Jaguars Analyst and Former Jaguars Left Tackle

• The Jaguars will win if:They can play a complete game in all three phases, and win at the line of scrimmages, especially on offense. In the first game, the Jags interior 3 on the oline struggled with Stewart and Buckner. Not allowing them to disrupt the game will be critical.
• The Colts will win if:They are able to get the run game going and force the Jaguars to be one dimensional. I also think the Colts will need to win the turnover battle to beat the Jags.
• As Boselli sees it:This is going to be a tough divisional game, and you know Minshew will be fired up to prove something against his old team. I don't think the 2 weeks in London will have any impact on the Jags and I expect them to come out fired up in front of the home crowd…Jags win 24-21. 

Frank Frangie, Radio Voice of the Jaguars

• The Jaguars will win if: They maintain the balance from a week ago. Big games from Lawrence and wide receiver Calvin Ridley in the passing game complemented by a terrific ground game from Etienne led to the win over the Bills. The Jaguars need to stay balanced and need veteran guard Tyler Shatley again to step in — he's been doing that for two years — if they aren't going to have Walker Little at left guard for a while. Stewart and Buckner are very good.
• The Colts will win if: They run well. Defensively, the Jags must stop the Colts' rushing game. Moss has been very good and the Colts now have Taylor back. Former Jag Minshew will hit some throws, but the key is the Colts' ground game.
• As Frangie sees it: The Jags have the better team. If they take care of the ball, they will be in position to sweep the Colts.

Jeff Lageman, Jaguars Analyst and Former Jaguars Defensive End

• The Jaguars will win if: They continue their offensive improvement and play with the same energy as the last two games. Lawrence is starting to find a rhythm with his weapons and running back Travis Etienne Jr. is playing really well. That can be a tough combination to stop – even for a tough Colts defense.
• The Colts will win if: Minshew Mania happens for the Indy's offense. Minshew will provide a boost to a Colts passing attack that was limited with the inexperienced rookie Richardson. Moss and Taylor pounding it out on the ground can make it tough for any defense to have any success, especially with the Colts offensive line playing very well.
• As Lageman sees it: This is a typical tough divisional matchup with the AFC South lead on the line and will be a hard-fought battle. The Jaguars' run defense was incredible against the Bills and must continue to be strong to put pressure on Minshew. The Jags' offensive line must play well in the middle to control Colts defensive tackles DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart. If Lawrence has patience against Colts defensive coordinator Gus Bradley' defense this should be a fun return to the 'Bank.

Brent Martineau, Action Sports Jax Sports Director

• The Jaguars will win if: They slow down the Colts' run game. Indianapolis is in a groove running the ball and the Jaguars have been good at stopping the run. If the Jags contain Taylor and Moss, the path to winning gets a lot more clear.
• The Colts will win if: They win the turnover battle. I think the Colts need help from the Jaguars to win this game. They got it in the first meeting and still couldn't win. Minshew can play mistake-free ball, so the Jaguars must do the same.
• As Martineau sees it: I think this lines up to be a blowout for the Jaguars. That's always weird to predict in the NFL, but I like how this team feels right now. The offense has been on the verge and almost erupted last week. This might be the week. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence plays well against the Colts and the Jags own them at home. I think the Jags win, 34-13.

• The Jaguars will win if: They get a lead and channel their style from the last two weeks. The Jaguars didn't trail in either of back-to-back victories over the Atlanta Falcons and Bills in London the last two weeks. They surged to first place in the AFC South by getting those leads, then defending them with scrappy defense and clutch offensive play late. That feels like the Jaguars' formula right now.
• The Colts will win if: They run effectively. With quarterback Anthony Richardson out, the Colts figure to lean heavily on running backs Zach Moss and Jonathan Taylor Sunday. The Jaguars are a strong run defense, and will need to play to that strength Sunday and force Minshew into mistakes.
• As Oehser sees it: The Jaguars may have found a new identity in London. Their ability to limit the Falcons' running offense and disrupt the Bills' passing offense was impressive and bodes well for this team's prospects this season. The sense here is the Jaguars' strong play from London will carry over to Sunday.

Brian Sexton, jaguars.com Senior Correspondent

• The Jaguars will win if: They convert on third down and score in the red zone like they did last week. They beat the Buffalo Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium because they converted 10 of 18 third downs, which kept the offense on the field for 38 minutes compared to 22 for the Bills and ran 82 plays compared to 54 for the Bills. The Jaguars also scored two touchdowns in three red-zone trips, which is a significant improvement over the first month of their season. If they play like that on Sunday, they will beat the Colts.
• The Colts will win if: The Jaguars revert to the form that got them beat against Houston in Wee 3: Poor execution on third down and in the red zone, turnovers, blown coverages and special teams errors. If they're jetlagged or have a bad week of practice and don't show up mentally and physically prepared for a big game – which this is with first place in the AFC South on the line – they will lose.
• As Sexton sees it: The Jaguars took a big step forward beating the Bills and won't go backwards. The Jaguars played consistently good football in two games in London and seem past their early season struggles. Talking to players after the win at Tottenham, they believe they're on the right track on both sides of the ball. I think they'll be ready to play against quarterback Gardner Minshew II and Co. and will claim a third consecutive win – and their ninth consecutive home win over the Colts.

• The Jaguars will win if: They dictate the game at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Back in Week 1, the Colts defensive line had some moments – and with the Jaguars offensive line suffering some injuries and changes the last two weeks, they need to be sturdy up front to protect Lawrence. Meanwhile, the Jags' defensive front must contain Minshew and force him to throw down the middle of the field. 
• The Colts will win if: They get the running game going and get a couple takeaways. The Jaguars have been good on defense against the run, and they need that to continue.
• As Shadrick sees it: The Jaguars are coming off back-to-back London wins, but we will see how they bounce back from the travel with a divisional game at home. Lawrence has been making great decisions, standing in and making big throws at key moments lately. That's always a good sign, and the Jaguars should handle business to control first place in the AFC South.

• The Jaguars will win if: They keep things rolling. The Jaguars are starting to figure things out and they need to translate their London success into a win at home. If the Jags prepare and approach the Colts game with seriousness, then they will win handily.
• The Colts will win if: They keep it close late, and Taylor runs wild. He has the ability to have a breakout day and the Jaguars' defense struggled against Falcons running back Bijan Robinson. Anything can happen if things are close in the fourth quarter.
• As Stevens sees it: The Jaguars will handle business and get the job done. I believe their days of making unforced efforts are behind them. The Jaguars will be atop the AFC South by Monday.
