Cannon Fodder : Action packed collection for Amiga CD32


If you said to any Amiga gamer, "War has never been so much fun" they'd probably know what game(s) you were thinking of. As for those of you that don't, it's the perfectly action packed Cannon Fodder, plus it's sequel Cannon Fodder 2 and all expansions and demo discs. First developed by Sensible Software in 1993, you the player control a small squad of up to five soldiers through more than 20 missions as you take out enemy units, buildings and vehicles in some of the best games ever released. Bomberman - Free Arcade fun for Amiga CD32


Now here's a great classic nearly everyone has heard of, it's the great "Bomberman" also known as Dynablaster. An awesome Arcade game first developed by Hudson Soft that has so far sold well over a million copies and is incredibly addictive, especially in multiplayer mode. In these brilliant arcade classics your goal is to complete each level and reach the exit by strategically placing bombs in order to either kill enemies, your friends or to destroy objects. Power ups can be collected to give yourself the edge, but watch out as not only can other bombs kill you, you can kill yourself!

Evil's Doom - An incredible RPG Dungeon Crawler for the Amiga FREE!


Have I got a treat for you retrogamers! If Ambermoon wasn't popular enough here comes another RPG for you to play that's not only a good game but it has a bit of a history behind it as well. Welcome to Evil's Doom, one of the last "big" Amiga games; a classic dungeon crawler made by Croatian developers Olympia Entertainment Group that was never officially released. According to some sites it was due to bugs however Evil's Doom became a victim of software piracy, after the beta version was sent to magazines, the first cracks appeared and the developers cancelled the game and left the Amiga.

Back to the golden age - Arcade Action Atari ST port for Amiga!


How would you like to play the latest Amiga port of a very fine Atari/Amstrad game first released in the early 90's by the well known company Ubisoft? Well now you can with Back to the Golden age; An Arcade, Action sword fighting game where you can explore rooms, castles and dungeons all the while fighting knights, warriors and other strange beasts that lurk in the next screen. What's more... You can buy supplies, find loot and even cast spells, it's a grand game indeed with cool animation, fighting sequences and plenty of gameplay that will keep you occupied for ages.

WinUAE 2.9.0 Beta 17 - The latest Amiga beta emulator PPC release


Toni Wilen has once again released another WinUAE beta for the Amiga/PC community and this time it's WinUAE 2.9.0 beta 17 which further improves the PPC support. I'm sure we can't be that far away from a final version of this great Amiga emulator, but as usual see the changelog for fix details and download links.

Deuteros - Strategy PC remake gets a v140919 update


Rejoice as the next Deuteros (Ian Bird) remake version is now available to download. Play an early alpha remake build of one of the finest Space Strategy games ever released. Research new technology, colonize the stars, mine for resources and defend yourself against the Martians in a sequel to another great classic, Millennium 2.2.

Breathless - AGA first person shooter for Amiga CD32


Another day, another Earok Amiga CD32 port release and once again it's a first person shooter in the form of Breathless. Developed by Fields of Vision, Breathless is a great action game as it has mood and atmosphere, huge levels to explore, enough combat to keep the player interested and a Doom style engine in lovely 256 AGA colours. Although this is the last of the AGA first person shooter Amiga CD32 ports by Earok, it's actually one of the best and runs much better than the previous release.

Lionheart - One of the finest platformers for Amiga CD32


Here is one of the finest games you'll ever play on an Amiga, a game that has not just great reviews but is still being sold for a very high price on Ebay. It's Lionheart by Thalion Software, the same developers behind the incredible RPG Ambermoon. Lionheart is a 1993 platformer and features some of the best graphics and gameplay ever seen on an Amiga, a highly regarded platformer on a retro system. Thanks to Earok you can now play this brilliant game on an Amiga CD32!

Nemac IV: The Director's Cut - First person shooter for Amiga CD32


The next Earok Amiga CD32 port release is now available for download and once again it's a first person shooter. Originally released by Zentek,  Nemac IV: The Director's Cut is a doom style game in which your task is to infiltrate Nemac IV, an automated defence installation gone haywire. Featuring lots of weapon blasting action and enemies to destroy, Nemac is a pretty decent game to have in your Amiga CD32 collection.

Leading Lap MPV - AGA racer gets an Amiga CD32 conversion


Good afternoon gamers, I hope everyone had a good weekend! Thus with a new week it's a new Earok Amiga CD32 port and none other than Leading Lap MPV; a '95 AGA racing game for the Amiga. Although the game is fun to play as you race around the track at break neck speeds, it's no way as good as the brilliant Formula One, Still though atleast it's free and will probably be the last of the racing AGA conversions, so enjoy it and look forward to another release tomorrow.

The Killing Grounds & Flappy Bird get the Amiga CD32 treatment!


You may have noticed the lack of posts these last few days, that's because I haven't been well at all. So while I was bed bound I had the pleasure of playing the latest Earok Amiga CD32 ports of both Alien Breed 3D : The Killing Grounds and Flappy Bird. Whereas The Killing Grounds is a first person shooter, Flappy Bird is a tappable flappy game to avoid pipes.

WinUAE 2.9.0 Beta 15 - Amiga QEMU PPC core support


After much waiting and wondering how far the PPC core development would progress, Toni Wilen has released the latest WinUAE 2.9.0 beta 15 with some pretty impressive improvements. One such member by the name of esc has commented that Amiga OS 4 loads considerably faster and so far PPC doom and quake are actually playable. But that's not all this beta has to offer, so make sure to check the changelog and download the best in Amiga emulators.

4D Sports Driving - Be the ultimate stunt driver in this Amiga CD32 port


Prepare for the crazy drive of your life as Earok has now released 4D Sports Driving; a game published in 1990 by Brøderbund Software, Inc that's all about the tricks, stunts and making your own crazy tracks in the construction editor. One of the best stunt games ever released and using either a first person or third person perspective you'll be jumping large gaps, pulling tricks and impressing others with your crazy track design. Although not as good as Stunt Car Racer, it's just incredibly addictive and is now available to play on your Amiga CD32.

Rally Championships - Arcade racing for Amiga CD32


Put aside the platformers and puzzle games as it's time for the next Amiga CD32 Earok release in the form of an arcade racing game called Rally Championships. Developed by InSide Team and released in 1994, you'll be racing around different tracks of both green and snow while aiming for the best possible time. Rally Championship features great graphics in an isometric view and fun gameplay, what did let the original down was lots of disk swapping especially the AGA version and hard difficulty.

Defender of the Crown - One of Cinemawares greatest games is now on GOG!


After our last week announcement by Cinemaware, we are now delighted to further announce that Defender of the Crown is now available to buy on GOG.com  This is one of many all time classic games that will be on gog from Cinemaware, but it's great to see that the developers have released this incredible Strategy game as the first in the line up of great games. Relive a defining moment in the Amiga's life time, as you play through medieval gameplay of conquering, tournaments, and damsel rescuing that set a high bar in stunning graphical presentation.

This great collection doesn't just have lemmings but every single Lemmings sequel and spin off that appeared on the Amiga. From Oh no more Lemmings to the very festive Christmas Lemmings, this CD32 collection has them all!

The Great Giana Sisters - Controversial classic for Amiga CD32


Earok has one again ported another fine Amiga classic for Amiga CD32 owners and it's none other than the controversial "The Great Giana Sisters". Released in 1987 and developed by Time Warp Products and published by Rainbow Arts, had a controversial production history, similarities to Super Mario and also an alleged lawsuit case. With originals sometimes selling into the £1000's on Ebay on multiple system platforms, the Great Giana Sisters is a brilliant 2D platformer in which the player controls either Giana or her sister Maria.

Kick Off Collection - Hugely playable Football games now Amiga CD32 playable


As promised the next Amiga CD32 port is now available for Amiga CD32 owners and this time it's none other than the Kick Off collection. Now I'm not a Football fan, I really do hate Football even games, but according to those that played Kick Off it's a hugely playable series and has won numerous awards in the gaming industry.
