Team 17 Crack Pack [CD32] [SX32] - A copy protect disabled Amiga CD32 release

As many of you know, Earok and team usually release Amiga CD32 packs that are either from games that have never been on the Amiga CD32 before, or with improvements and additions that make life just that little bit easer on the classic gaming system. The latest release for example enables you to get straight into the game other than what the original games were like, as the copy protection has been removed. Team 17 games such as Alien Breed 3D, The Speris Legacy and Worms. So no fiddling with manual copy protection codes with gamepad in hand with this lot!

Brutal Doom reaches version V20b and it's bloody glorious!

What an amazing start to 2016 as SGtMarkIV has finally released the latest Brutal Doom version of v20b. Pretty much the bloodiest Doom mod we've come across, with more gibs and guts than you could ever need in a first person shooter, has now got much much better. It was already louder, bigger, faster and harder than the original Doom but now features destroyable bodies and disgusting physics, as well as huge performance improvements.

Steve Kups from the Byteriders (Heroes & Cowards) has passed away :(

With all the news that we've had today, we did not expect this sadness to appear in our inbox, as we have been informed by Retro-Nerd of EAB that Steve Kups from Byteriders has passed away from the consequences of a heart attack on 26.12.2015. For those of you who don't know of Steve Kups, he was also behind the unreleased C64 graphical adventure of ' Heroes & Cowards ' which last year celebrated a triumphant comeback on the Commodore 64 in cooperation with Out of Order Softworks and Protovision to finally release this most wanted of adventure games. Lawless Legends - Retro styled RPG crawler gets new footage!

What do you get if you add in a touch of the original classic Ultima, a slice of the old Might and Magic, and add in a gun slinging blend of the Wild West? Most likely ' Lawless Legends ', which is a fantasy role playing game set in the wild west for the Apple II, C64, & other modern platforms!  The game has been in development for some time now but already the gameplay, the detail and everything else about the game, certainly does give us an early indication of a worthy retro inspired title that may come out in 2016. To coincide with this news, the developers have for the last couple of months released more media through their website and Facebook.

Upbeat C64 ' Happy New Year 2016 ' Demo!

Arsenic, Censor Design and Oxyron have left 2015 and gone into 2016 in style, with the ' A storm is coming ' Happy New Year 2016 C64 demo! We are certainly no strangers to these bunch of scene C64 gurus as they have released some of the greatest demos that really show what the C64 is capable of. This one may not be the most impressive of releases, but that tune is wicked cool! So download it and turn it up, even if your neighbours are sleeping in.

Pan comes 1st place in the C64 Sideways Seuck Compo 2015!

Towards the end of last year we featured many C64 homebrew games that have been entered into the fantastic 2015 Sideways C64 SEUCK Competition. Using the Shoot Em Up Construction Kit, programmers from around the world stepped up to the challenge to make a game that would appeal enough to be crowned winners in the competition. Well today the winners have been announced and Pan has come 1st place, with U-91306 Eidothea - The Daughter of Protheus coming 2nd and Edge of Time coming 3rd!

Flying Cobra RX - An unseen shoot 'em up blasts its way on to the C64

The New Dimension with creation by Alf Yngve have left 2015 and into 2016 with an almighty blast, as they have released a very special unseen version of an old SEUCK creation, which was made back in 2010, but never saw the light of day until the release of the disk version of Kung Fu Maniacs, but pushed to the limit with even more game enhancements! This is the very good Shoot 'em up of ' Flying Cobra RX ' for the C64!

Underland Preview - Aborted Dungeon Crawling romp released by Laxity!

A great surprise has appeared out of Laxity for all you dungeoneers as they have released a preview version of the aborted C64 game, ' Underland Preview '. This is a dungeon crawler RPG in which you can select your very own of class of character such as Ranger, Paladin or Necromancer and begin your destiny at different areas before traversing the eery tunnels and fighting evil beasts!

Ultimate Play The Game : Pentagram - WIP port release for the Atari 8bit

Although I am not a fan of the Ultimate Play the Games, even if they still do have a huge cult following with some titles going over £100 on Ebay. We couldn't help but notice the work in progress Atari 8bit port of ' Pentagram ' which is being ported from the ZX Spectrum version by mariusz and made available since yesterday. Originally released by Ultimate Play The Game in 1986. It is the fourth in the Sabreman series, following on from his adventures in Sabre Wulf, Underwurlde and Knight Lore.

GODS - Full blown Amiga CD32 release with custom loader!

Now here's a blast from the past it's 'GODS', an original game by the Bitmap Brothers which was released in 1991-2 for the Amiga, Atari ST, PC, SNES and Sega Megadrive. It is without doubt a seriously cool action platformer that was loved by many. It also had that famous tune ' Into The Wonderful ' which if you said it to any Amiga gamer would probably go crazy with the tune playing over and over again in their heads in a constant loop. But today's news is a very special end of year 2015 release by Earok, Galahad and Steve, it's ' GODS [CD32] [SX32] ' for all Amiga CD32 owners!
