L'Abbaye des Morts - Retro Platformer with a ZX Spectrum flavour playable online

Welcome to L'Abbaye des Morts; a great retro platformer in a ZX Spectrum style that was originally developed by Locomalito, who is no stranger to developing fantastic games such as Maldita Castilla and Hydorah. In this fine little retro inspiration, you'll be jumping platforms, avoiding enemies, collecting items and avoiding death as you play as Jean Raymond, hiding in an old church of ancient evil.

Necromonads - Defender inspired arcade shooter gets a Steam Greenlight campaign

In the early 1980's an Arcade game released by Williams Electronics was to become one of the most important titles of the golden age of video arcade games selling over 55,000 units. That game was Defender; a shooter featuring 2D graphics as you defend astronauts against wave after wave of alien enemies. Thankfully that style of gameplay isn't dead and today we now have Necromonads, a brand new Defenders style game that's currently going through a Steam Greenlight campaign.

The Great Giana Sisters - Controversial classic for Amiga CD32

Earok has one again ported another fine Amiga classic for Amiga CD32 owners and it's none other than the controversial "The Great Giana Sisters". Released in 1987 and developed by Time Warp Products and published by Rainbow Arts, had a controversial production history, similarities to Super Mario and also an alleged lawsuit case. With originals sometimes selling into the £1000's on Ebay on multiple system platforms, the Great Giana Sisters is a brilliant 2D platformer in which the player controls either Giana or her sister Maria.

Kick Off Collection - Hugely playable Football games now Amiga CD32 playable

As promised the next Amiga CD32 port is now available for Amiga CD32 owners and this time it's none other than the Kick Off collection. Now I'm not a Football fan, I really do hate Football even games, but according to those that played Kick Off it's a hugely playable series and has won numerous awards in the gaming industry.

Cinemaware - Some of the greatest classics coming to GOG.COM!

We've just been informed by Cinemaware that they have announced a digital distribution agreement with GOG.com, the leading source of DRM-free games. Through this agreement GOG.com will be providing a selection of incredible classics that many of us grew up with; one such game being Defender of the Crown. What's more Cinemaware has mentioned that not only will the DOS version be sold, but also the very first Amiga games will also be sold with the DOS versions through GOG.

uCassette - The best tape loader for the C64? (Hardware Review)

Tim from ‘Shareware Plus‘ has kindly sent us over the uCassette to review and this little device has peaked my interest for some time, a device so cool it looks to be a neat addition to the C64/128 community. This piece of kit may be small, fitting in the palm of your hand but don't let that fool you, as for people like you and me who are sick of trying to get tapes working, will find the uCassette to be the next best thing that don't want to delve into the usage of SD cards.

Super Cars Collection - A racing classic ported to Amiga CD32

We are now onto game number 4 and it's none other than the brilliant Super Cars collection of 1 and 2, two brilliant top down arcade racers for the Amiga published by Gremlin in 1990/91. Unlike the original Amiga version, this is the Amiga CD32 Earok port that can be played on any Amiga CD32 console or through WinUAE. For those of you who haven't played Super Cars, you are seriously missing out on two of the best arcade racing games ever released. There's just so many awesome top down levels of two player, car blasting action you'll be entertained for hours.

Raising over 1 million in a successful Kickstarter campaign; Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an incredible looking Medieval open world RPG that's due for release late next year. Developed by Warhorse Studios; this first-person, realistic RPG, will take you to Medieval Europe in a time of great upheaval and strife. You will dive deep into a sweeping, epic, nonlinear story from Daniel Vávra, an award-winning designer from the Mafia series. But with all that said, there's one question that so many have been asking, when is the Alpha? Mighty Retro Zero - 8-Bit style bonkers platform mashup looking for Greenlight votes

I've seen some bonkers games in my time, notably Jet Set Willy and pretty much anything to come from the house of Minter, but I think I can honestly say Mighty Retro Zero tops them all. Steam user Kronbits (Davit Masia) has jammed together just about every 8-bit genre I can think of into one bizarre yet beautiful fest of explodey fat pixels.

Megaman Battle 3 - Retro Action Platformer gets a crossover!

There's probably not one person on this page who hasn't heard of Mega Man, the robotic kick ass character who originally started his action packed platforming days in the late 1980's. First released on the NES and one of Capcom's most prolific franchises, you can now play a fan based crossover fighting game with 18 of the characters from that original gaming classic.

Rick Dangerous Compilation - An incredible classic ported to Amiga CD32 (+PC Portable)

Today was one of those days but when I saw the latest Amiga CD32 Earok port release of Rick Dangerous and it's sequel, my mood changed to one of joy. It's incredible to think that the same people behind Tomb Raider, Core Design were also behind this amazing series of Indiana Jones style platformers. You'll also be pleased to know that this isn't just Rick Dangerous, but Rick Dangerous 1,2 and 2.5, that's hours worth of enjoyment!

Cannon Fodder - An all time classic ported to Amiga CD32

According to Earok the next Amiga CD32 port has been released and this one is sure to give some pretty intense memories from just the cover alone. It's none other than Cannon Fodder, an all time classic Action-Strategy Shoot 'em up developed by Sensible Software and published by Virgin in 1993. This grand game of mission based and military battling, also had a pretty famous soundtrack with the words "War, it's never been so much fun" to promote their controversial Amiga game.

Grinder - A new take on Space Invaders

Your memories of Space Invaders would probably be of alien like spaceships slowly moving down the screen increasing in speed as you blast them out the way one by one. But Grinder, developed by member of jabber conference goes much further than that and changes not just the style but the level of difficulty contained within.
