The day has finally come - we now know how to make Ross Geller's much-loved Moist Maker sandwich.

If you're in need of a recap, in the episode of Friends 'The One With Ross's Sandwich', someone in Ross's job ate the sandwich Monica made him with leftovers from Thanksgiving.

While this may seem like a minor inconvenience to some, to Ross it meant a whole lot more.

As Ross said himself: "Just a sandwich? I am 30 years old, I’ve been divorced twice and I just got evicted, that sandwich was the only good thing going on in my life. Someone ate the only good thing going on in my life."

The name of the sandwich comes from the method Monica uses to make it, whereby she soaks the bread in gravy.

"You see my sister makes these amazing turkey sandwiches. Her secret is, she puts an extra slice of gravy soaked bread in the middle; I call it the Moist Maker," explained Ross.

After all of the hype surrounding the infamous meal, someone has finally recreated the Moist Maker so we can all enjoy it from the comfort of our own homes.

Chef Oliver Babish uploaded a video of how to make the sandwich to his YouTube channel, as part of the series Binging With Babish.

In order to make the sandwich, you have to butterfly the turkey and leave it in the fridge for 24 hours, make cranberry sauce, gravy and soak the all-important slice of bread.

While it may seem tedious, judging by Ross's reaction to it being eaten, we think it's worth it.
