hassell to assembleSarahonce constructed it works like a charm. the metal is thin which has its pros and cons. but the assembly is not great. hammering metal sheets together is loud and strenuous. my cross sections also did not fit together very well after assembly so i had to fight with them for a little bit. but it is a good size and is lightweight once you get it together. probably wouldn't buy it again though. 3
Perfect for our utility room organization!KimWe really love the Bror shelving! It's sturdy and surprisingly easy to assemble with 2 people. We reorganized our utility/laundry room. Looks great!5
Poorly fabricatedPageI am normally a huge ikea advocate, even of the more tedious items but this was definitely an "L" for me. The metal is poorly machined (punch outs/holes were crooked or not fully detached, elements did not align), and the support frames arrived bent even though the packaging was fully intact and seemingly undamaged. Unless you have no other choice, spend the extra money to get a utility shelf from a bigger home improvement store. Once assembled (after some modifications) its fine, looks ok and does its job but was a headache to get to that point. 2
Very wobblyBethanyI usually love IKEA products, but this is the worst one I have ever used. I bought three of these shelves and they are incredibly wobbly and thin. They do not stay together well and the center shelf support is constantly falling down. No matter what I have tried they still twist and bend, even when anchored to the wall. Would not recommend. 1
Totally worth itTadotsayI bought one of these when they first came out. I use it in the kitchen as additional pantry space. It is extremely easy to put together. All you need a a mallet. I ended up using it to store my pots, pans, crackpot, and cast iron. It has lasted quite well. So I bought an additional one just recently. The shelves hold a microwave, toaster, can goods. I also bought one for my craft room which also hold very heavy items. I understand some people had problems putting it together and it seems flimsy at first but it is not in the end. I did it myself by hammering in the top pieces then the bottom. Then the middle.5
Worst IKEA product I’ve come acrossYoungSo flimsy. We were trying to align the corner pieces so they can all sit flush and went to step on it and it completely distorted….this is the WORST product I’ve ever come across and I cannot believe I spent $400 on a garage system this flimsy. You’re better off buying a sturdy industrial one odd OfferUp or Lowe’s bc this is absolute trash. I’m pretty livid rn that I completely wasted money on such a trash product. I don’t feel comfortable with my 2 kids around as this is being used in the garage as a part of our storage and home gym setup.1
Dont buy this if you value your timeAdamMetal is flimsier than a paperclip, i could literally deform the pieces with my fingers. Unless you are storing very light materials stay away. Also was missing several pieces and had sharp metal sticking out. Worse than something you could get on wish.com1
Using it in my garageNeringaI decided to use it in my garage. Needed something not super heavy / in a limited space to hold my husbands organised tools, bolts etc. Easy to asemble and most important it comes in the compact packaging. I matched with Ikea containers and im happy overall , so i went and bought another one.5
