The whole game was just a little awkward. Wasn’t a fan of the combat style and game design. There are “side quests” that are required to progress to the next part of the story and they were often where I stopped playing and had to take a break. Happy I played it, but wouldn’t play again
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is an unsatisfying third-person corridor shooter that positions itself as a Harry Potter game, but doesn't really reflect his world in all its beauty and charm. The main mechanic of the game is constant firefights with enemies, and this is the only thing you can find here.
The game visually represents a simple copy of the locations known from books and films, but nothing excites or impresses. In addition, Harry Potter himself does not look very realistic and unnatural.
In addition to visual issues, the game also suffers from poor gameplay quality. The controls and character management are awkward and unintuitive, making it difficult to play and enjoy the game. Additionally, the enemies' AI is weak and predictable, making every firefight monotonous and boring.
Overall, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is a disappointment for fans of the series. It fails to capture the magic and uniqueness of the Harry Potter world, and offers nothing new or exciting. This game is better left aside and fans are better off turning to other games that reflect their beloved world-renowned story better and meet their expectations.
