Christina Anstead's announcement that she's expecting her third child with husband Ant Anstead only came a few days ago, but the Flip or Flop star is already opening up about her real—and very relatable—pregnancy struggles. In a recent Instagram post, she revealed just how hard her first trimester has been, calling it a "brutal" one.

Christina speculated that it may be her age that's making this pregnancy the toughest—having a baby at 35 or older is actually considered a "geriatric pregnancy" to some—but she's also considering other factors. "Maybe I just forgot how bad it was with Tay and Bray...but yikes, it really blindsided me," she said in her Instagram post. "Nausea, exhaustion, too many food aversions, too many carbs...anyways I’m officially back to feeling somewhat normal. Going to try and enjoy the second trimester while it’s here."

The soon-to-be mom of five—Ant has two children from a previous marriage—opened up about the infertility issues she faced with her former husband Tarek El Moussa back in 2015, after her son Brayden was born. “I had to be really strict,” she told People of her high-risk pregnancy. Brayden was the product of a third in-vitro fertilization attempt. Now, with her husband Ant Anstead, the couple is busy enjoying waiting for their "miracle baby" to arrive.

The Christina on the Coast star thanked fans for all their love and support throughout her journey as a mom in a sweet Instagram post featuring her daughter, Taylor, 8, on her and Ant's wedding day. "I became a big sister at age 10, and I love the bond I have with my sister @carly.haack," the post reads. "Tay is so excited she will be a big sis again at age 9...thank you so much for all the sweet messages...we really appreciate all the love and support!"
