This place is a must for any trip to Mykonos. It is a relaxation lounge spot dedicated exclusively to sunsets. The outdoor bar is perched on a hill allowing for breathtaking panoramic views of Mykonos town, the famous windmills and the harbour. The best way to reach 180° Sunset Bar is on foot — while it’s a bit of a hike uphill from Mykonos town, you’ll be rewarded with delicious cocktails.

2. Hidden Gem Mykonos: Kalo Livadi Beach

Kalo Livadi is a dream beach. You will find 600m of soft, beige sand, turquoise blue water and lots of space. This place is perfect for getting in the holiday mood and relaxing. Kalo Livadi is located 10km south-east of Mykonos Town and can be reached by public bus or by car. The best part is that the beach is usually less crowded than the rest of the beaches on the south coast.

3. Hidden Gem Mykonos: Fokos Taverna

The smell of grilled lamb chops, sizzling burgers and grilled calamari rises above Fokos Beach. The food at this long-standing taverna is prepared with so much love and care that it feels like the owners cook it in their private kitchen. The delectable menu features delicacies inspired by traditional Mykonian and Mediterranean cuisine, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients.

4. Hidden Gem Mykonos: Scorpius Beach Club

Located in between two bays with gorgeous views of Mykonos and a sunset spot, Scorpius is considered to be the trendiest beach spot on the island. This hip addition to the Mykonos island beach club scene offers the ideal combination: beach fun in the sun, laid-back lounging, delicious cocktails, good music and amazing food along with Greek wines. Everything is a bit pricey but it’s still well worth a visit.

Near the new port of Mykonos lies this incredible and charming restaurant, which will for sure impress you with everything they do. The decoration is simple but beautiful, and together with the awesome view of the sea, it creates a wonderful atmosphere to be in. It opens for breakfast and stays open until midnight, so you can visit it any time of the day. The food is super tasty. They specialize in Greek cuisine and every dish is prepared with incredible attention to detail. When you decide to stop by, order their famous Moussaka. You won’t be disappointed!

6. Hidden Gem Mykonos: Rehab

After a long night of drinking and partying around Mykonos, it is essential to find a place where you can recharge your batteries before a new day. Rehab, the brunch and juice bar, is without a doubt the top spot for this. Here you’ll have a great selection of freshly made juices, delicious yogurts, musli and many other tasty dishes. The portions here are generous so they will provide you with energy for a while! As the cherry on top, the prices are also great compared to other restaurants on the island. Coming to this hidden gem in the mornings means starting your day on the right foot.

7. Hidden Gem Mykonos: Kastro’s Mykonos

This beautiful tavern in little Venice enchants everyone that decides to visit and try their incredible dishes. Located in a secret alley, Kastro’s has one of the best views of the sea in the island. They have balconies where you can sit and enjoy the phenomenal Greek cuisine they specialize in and their great selection of Greek wines. This place is not too touristy so it lends itself for a perfect romantic occasion with your partner, especially if you come for the sunset.

8. Hidden Gem Mykonos: Kapari Beach

This hidden beach which is mostly frequented by locals will hypnotise you with its incredible view of the horizon and crystal clear waters. Normally it doesn’t get so crowded thanks to its seclusion, so you can expect a lot of relaxation here. Don’t forget to bring your diving goggles because you’ll have many things to see underwater. If you decide to stop by in the afternoon, you’ll experience a beautiful and unforgettable sunset. To get to Kapari beach you have to come with your own transport to the nearest parking lot and then walk around ten minutes to reach it.
