Nandhiji shares the rare wisdom and teachings of the seldom revealed source of yogic wisdom of the Siddha Sages, the liberated mystics of South India.

Nandhiji was gifted with a childhood experience of the Divine when he was four years old. Later as a young adult while leading an active life of family, he was initiated through a death experience by his first Guru, and his journey into the mystical realm of the Siddhars as a yogi began.

After years of seeking "wholeness" through connection with the inner world, Nandhiji woke up to understand his highest purpose: to uplift humanity in consciousness. Nandhi’s experiences ranged during these times from firm yogic resolve in undertaking pilgrimages to sacred temples and hidden sanctuaries across India, to epic adventures in the spiritual wilderness of South India, to sojourns in forest shrines and caves—all under the guidance his Gurus, and through yoga, worship, meditation and solitude, to attain the wholeness to know his purpose and serve in the doings.

One of the fruits of his journey are offered in this book, “Mastery of Consciousness.” Nandhiji says, “When we awaken the inner Lamp, we liberate ourselves to the grace of our own wisdom, our Inner Guru, and we connect to the grace of an ancient lineage of Gurus. When awaken, we shine our unique genius, enabling us to be the Master in our heart's calling. With Consciousness, we tap into the grace of yoga, called ‘Yogam’. Yogam means tapping into ever-present abundant and harmonious realities, knowing our highest purpose, being inspired, being in good health, and being like the Sun—whole and radiating!"

Nandhiji envisions a humanity awake through yogic wisdom, enterprise and community. His efforts towards this vision include the Declaration of Consciousness Movement, Ariven Community, and the teachings, music and art available on his website at Nandhi.com

To begin, the quality of the pages and the pictures are stunning. More importantly, the content provides great insight into a lifestyle and thought process of which few Westerners are aware let alone have ever experienced. The stories take the reader into another place and time allowing the mind to drift and absorb everything shared. I particularly enjoyed the insights toward the end of the book that provide greater insight and history of some of India's most noted gurus. The book is a unique opportunity to be introduced to the higher consciousness in such a remarkable way.

this is one of those books that will be carried around, read, re-read, referred to, quoted and loved! nandhiji tapasyogi shows us how the ancient wisdom of the siddhar sages is as valid today as they were the very first time they were spoken and how they can be put into action to enhance our lives today.

As someone who had spontaneous Kundalini awakening several years ago, I have read dozens and dozens of books about awakening and Consciousness, from mainstream Eckhart Tolle to the most obscure, just to try to understand what is going on. I mention this only to note that I write this review from that perspective.

Nandhi’s book is unique, unlike any other I’ve read. It is of five parts, as he has wisely organized it.
1) Nandhi’s biography and how he came to Be, a fascinating and inspiring story of his awakening which points to the possibilities within all of us.
2) 108 Consciousness Sutras, along with wonderful photos and paintings, which reveal the ancient teachings of the Siddhar Yogis that were held in secret for hundreds and hundreds of years. All are teaching toward Self Realization. It, of course, is taking me some time to absorb the many Sutras, but Nandhi’s presentation allows the reader/meditator to go back to any and all, again and again, to find the wisdom or new wisdom. In addition, Nandhi supports these teachings with frequent satsangs (often at no cost) via Livestream or tele-seminar.
3) Part 3 is what I’d describe as the “self-help” section. Nandhi provides specific information regarding ancient Tantric traditions (not to be confused with “tantric sex” which is where the U.S. culture has shamefully taken the word “tantra” to mean). In this section, Nandhi speaks of specific practices towards Self Realization. This chapter is worth the price of admission. Yes, some physical hatha yoga guidance -- which is what we in the U.S. think that yoga is – but wait, there’s so much more to yoga!
4) An interview with Nandhi which speaks many truths and insights.
5) Glossary.

Nandhi’s book is real guidance from a “real-deal” guru of solid lineage, true spiritual experience, love, and wisdom to share if you are serious about a spiritual path that is true. Sure, it’s still just a finger pointing at the moon and you can’t know Realization by reading about it. But if you are in any way inclined to spend some money to go steps forward on your spiritual path, in my estimation, Nandhi’s book is a very good investment and something you’ll go back to time and again.

A monumental book destined to be a spiritual classic.

This book is the book of the century. It is monumental. It ranks up there with “Autobiography of a Yogi” and “Be Here Now” as classics in spiritual literature. The book contains profound visionary poetry, an abundance of color photos and accounts of the author's first-hand experiences with Siddhar masters. The word “Siddhar” means one who has attained the perfection of consciousness. The world today is plagued by a myriad of problems that often seen insurmountable. The solution is to raise the level of human consciousness. The Siddhar Saints are the experts of raising consciousness because they have succeeded in developing the full potential of consciousness. They are the world’s greatest resource. Nandhi has for the first time conveyed the essence of the ancient Siddhar tradition to the English speaking public. His message “Be the Prophet” is one that the world needs today more than ever. Nandhi has opened the door to one of the world's most ancient wisdom traditions that offers great promise for the future of humanity.

This is a GEM of a book. What could possibly take 7 or 8 lifetimes to complete, the author Tapasyogi Nandhi has done it in this one lifetime. So much wisdom all in ONE book. Greatest gift to humanity indeed. There is so much Wisdom and High quality spiritual pictures. It is healing in itself just to gaze lovingly at all the spiritually charged pictures and artworks in this book. Best part is one can open any page at any time and get the divine thought/wisdom for the day. It is also insightful to read the interview section where Nandhiji answers questions like : Was Jesus Christ a yogi, Who is Lord Ganesh from a siddhar perspective etc. The arrival of this book is one of signs of the coming Satya-Yuga. Thank you sooooo very much Nandhiji and may I give you a standing ovation now.

Wonderful summary of the Yogic principles based on the ancient yogic wisdom of Siddhar Yogis. Nandhi opens a portal into the nuggets of wisdom through the 108 sutras. Each sutra is an opportunity to dive deeper into self by contemplating on the words along with the colorful palettes provided on each page. I highly recommend this masterpiece writing to both beginners and advanced seekers of yogic wisdom. Blessings!!! ~Yogi Rohan
