Whether you're looking to enter your new AGA era or wondering what makes their glass oven so different to their others, their latest release differently showcases a mixture of evolution and revolution like we've never seen it before.
For the first time ever, AGA has used glass to extensively create a striking, unified oven that would be a wonderful addition to any contemporary kitchen.
Available in stores and online now, this sleek oven is beautifully finished off with a black glass finish and polished chrome trim for a stylish, modern look.
But, what we all want to know is what is so different about ERA? So, this heat storage range cooker amazingly features three large capacity ovens- one for roasting and baking, one for long, slow simmering, plus a conventional fan oven too.
Not to forget, it also has a powerful grill which provides four grilling positions; the higher positions for fast cooking and the lower positions for slower cooking.
On the top of the oven, there is its iconic AGA feature: the controllable cast-iron hotplate. Whether you want to put it on boiling or simmering, you can cook everything from a fried egg to popcorn on your very own AGA hot plate.
It also has a state-of-the-art four zone induction hob, which even includes a ‘power boost’ function which provides ten minutes of maximum power to your chosen zones.
Different to AGA's other ovens, ERA is controlled using a clever touch-screen control panel, hidden behind the top left glass door.
The oven even comes with a hand-held programmer, so you can pre-set the ovens wherever you are in your home.
One of the people behind the design is David Fisher, Chief Design Consultant said he believes AGA's new launch is a progressive move for the heritage brand.
He said: “The use of glass lends ERA a liquid quality as the sleek black glass cascades down from the top. The design is clean, cohesive and beautiful while also functionally brilliantly capable. It is modern and progressive while also faithful to a heritage stretching back more than 100 years.”
