Support for Amanda

Hello everyone , my name is Amanda creating an account on the behalf of my daughter Amanda Williams. On August 26, 2023 at 5:00 o’clock pm I received a mothers worst phone call stating my daughter has been involved in an automobile accident on polk parkway near exit 9-10 to bartow road. With very little details from FHP , I made a drive to Lakeland fl . Amanda was taken for multiple screenings and in the findings , she broke her back in multiple places with multiple fractures , to injuries to the spinal cord , Amanda went thru a very traumatic surgery that lasted hours . She was then place back in ICU where she will remain for the next week . Amanda now has steel rods in plates in her spine supporting her back from T10 , T11 , T12 , L1 , L2 , & L3 , she also had a laminectomy completed (removed bones) also during surgery on her T10 & T11 . Now that surgery has been completed , Amanda will have a very extensive recovery and expected to last 2 years . Amanda will be place in a turtle brace for her unstable fractures at least 6 months & limited activity for a minimum 3 months at least and will not be able to lift no more than 10lbs & throughout the process she will also be having in home therapy. Amanda has a two year old son that depends on her daily , she lost her only source of transportation , and currently will not be able to return back to work for quite some time. Amanda has no form of health insurance so we are creating this to fund to help with medical bills , daily needs for her and her son , paying up on the rent and whatever else she would need to get thru this time .
