          Pros

Some good people there...most however are CAD drafters, just there to commute to work and do what they're told.

          Cons

Upper management has no interest in modernizing their affairs. This office will be stuck in the dark ages for the rest of time.

Another year and no raise while partners buy $7 million dollar apartments. Polishing my resume and on my way out.

                  Pros

Good health care, regular hours most of the time, easy location.

                  Cons

Getting in the company, you immediately become a nobody cookie cutter, part of a heavy and slow big old machine. The pyramid system prevents you to grow, to have your hard work appreciated, and to develop as an architect and designer become a distante dream. There is more to say, but I think this is important to an architect that’s passionate for their profession to know before commit their time and career to this company.

                    Pros

The work is interesting. Some famous architects use Slce as architect of record. Internal projects can also be interesting

                    Cons

Wat too many new partners and associates that can make you suffocate. In their struggle to climb up the ladder they will step on you.

                        Pros

You have the opportunity to work with Big "Star" Architects" and develop projects from schematic design to completion. you are truly involved in Building the best city in the world. Great bosses as they are very family orientated., very rare in the architectural field. There is always something to learn as the projects are challenging and complex. You can Manage small projects on your own.

                        Cons

There is no option to become an associate if you are not licensed, even though your knowledge and experience are higher than many licensed architects. So it is hard to keep climbing and getting any promotions. Projects are complex and very understaffed, big work load and responsibility, which is compensated accordingly. There are 6 offices in one, run by 6 different partners. not much of an office culture. It is not a designing firm.

                      Regional Sales Manager

When is the appropriate time to send over any letters of reference? I had a great initial interview with an internal recruiter, and now have an interview with the Hiring Manager/ VP of Sales this afternoon. Thanks so much!

Is it appropriate to reach out to someone at a previous company letting them know you would be interested in coming back? This would be a different department and position.

                      Senior Consultant

Is there anyway to tell whether a role is fake? E.g. one of those roles where they already have an internal candidate in mind?
