Black Asta is one of the newest characters to join the Black Clover M roster, and he is without a doubt one of the better characters in the game.

Black Asta is a great unit for those looking to add a defender to their teams and in this guide we’ll show you the best build for him!

Who is Black Asta

Black Asta is the newest addition to the Power roster in Black Clover M and he is one of the better Defender units to make his way to the game.

He is able to both remove buffs from enemies while also buffing allies and keeping himself healthy, making him a great addition to any PvE and PvP team. 

Let’s dive into his kit!

Black Asta Skills

As already mentioned Black Asta has a diverse set of skills that allows him not only to deal damage but also remove buffs from enemies while buffing his allies and himself.

A lot of his kit revolves around his [Anti-Magic] mechanic which activates when he falls under the 40% HP threshold.

Demon-Slayer Sword

• Strikes down an enemy with the Demon-Slayer Sword, dealing damage.
  • If [Anti-Magic] is present on self, grants self +8 [Increased Special Points].
  • If [Anti-Magic] is not present on self, inflicts [Block HP Recovery] on an enemy for 2 turn(s).

SKILL 2

Black Hurricane

• Asta creates a black hurricane while holding the Demon-Slayer Sword, dealing damage to all enemies.
  • If [Anti-Magic] is present on self, attacks after [Dispelling Barrier] from a designated enemy.
  • If [Anti-Magic] is not present on self, grants all allies an [Increased DEF Lv.3] for 2 turn(s).

SKILL 3

Black Meteorite

• Delivers a blow imbued with the energy of Anti-Magic, dealing damage to an enemy.
  • If [Anti-Magic] is present on self, attacks after [Dispelling Barrier] from the enemy.
  • If [Anti-Magic] is not present on self, inflicts [Taunt] on an enemy for 2 turn(s).

Combined Attack

• Performs a combined attack with your partner, dealing damage to an enemy.
  • Inflicts [Stun] on the enemy for 1 turn(s).
