This is actually my second study of the Melmacian, Gordon Shumway, this time using the animated and comic book versions of ALF for reference. I like this method alot better than my previous attempts.
Very happy how he turned out.
I'm not jumping on the bandwagon - MrK-9 and lilglenndoggy just beat me to the punch because of my laziness with their awesome works, and that got me interested in my Melmacian projects.

Great stuff!!
The first season of the animated show wasn't too shabby.

We never got it in Australia as far as I know. Have to try and find eps online.
He is way more fun to draw than i originally expected. I hadnt watched the show in decades till very recently. I also was really surprised to find out the animated series was very well written. it reminded me of galaxy high, i like how its JUST melmacians and aliens, not alot of shows take a route that doesnt have human interaction on some level anymore.
I hope the whole cartoon series comes out on DVD soon x_x

Isn't he just? I've been trying to work from photos and failed. But working from the cartoon version, makes everything so much easier - and cuter too.
I hope the cartoon comes out on DVD too, but I'm not holding my breath as the original TV series has not come out on DVD in Australia yet.
