THEO GEE is a well-known figure in Brussels' nightlife scene and, now based in Los Angeles, he continues to explore his signature blend of Afrobeat sounds and melancholic, swaying rhythms. For the EP, Théo collaborated with Ghanaian singer Robby Adams, whose soulful voice embodies the warmth and nostalgia that characterizes the EP. 'My Escape', the EP's first track, is a sun-drenched declaration of love that captures the EP's solar and melancholic atmosphere.
The track's music video was shot in Los Angeles, where the city's unique atmosphere and warm sun rays infuse the video with vibrant energy.
THEO GEE is far from being a novice. He started his own party concept, BSMNT, in 2014 and quickly gained recognition as a DJ in Brussels. His mixes, which seamlessly blend electro and old-school hip-hop, allowed him to gradually network with influential names such as Brodinski, Majid Jordan, Jarreau Vandal, Troyboi, and STWO, and ultimately landed him invitations to prestigious festivals such as Dour, les Ardentes, and Couleur Café.
Over time, Théo began producing his own tracks, and in 2022, he released a series of four singles that helped establish his unique sound across Europe (Paris, Berlin, Porto, Rome, Barcelona, Amsterdam,...).
On June 23rd, he will release his 5-track EP titled "Tema," which he will present on June 22nd at a release party at the Jalousy Club in Brussels.
