Clyde Street Waterline Improvement ProjectTie-In on May 30, 2024
The Town of Franklin has been informed by Buckeye Bridge, LLC, the contractor replacing the water line on Clyde Street that they will be tying in the new water line to the distribution system on Thursday, May 30. It is estimated that this task should begin around 11:00 a.m.
There may be some brief service interruptions as they complete this task. Areas that may experience some interruption will be Clyde Street, Janelle Street, Town Mountain Road, Watauga Street, Dan Street and Randolph Street. This is one of the last steps to be taken before the new line is put into service.

Harrison Avenue Sidewalk ConstructionBeginning May 20
The Town of Franklin is committed to improving walkability and accessibility. Our latest sidewalk construction project will be on Harrison Avenue from 587 Harrison Avenue to West Main Street beginning on Monday, May 20. There will be lane reductions as construction progresses. Signage will be in place related to the closure and flaggers in place as needed. This project will take approximately 5 weeks to complete.
