Afterwards, a leisurely swim is just steps away.
A reservation is advised if you want to secure a spot at what is possibly Anguilla’s most beloved (and locally owned and operated) restaurant. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order, but especially delectable dishes include the cinnamon spice pumpkin soup, the lobster cakes and the impossibly creamy jalapeño shrimp and lobster risotto. You’re sure to have a fun and flavorful evening (especially if you throw in a delicious cocktail) at this welcoming and lively hot spot.
Head to Dolce Vita for an authentic Italian menu with an Anguillan twist, using fresh, local ingredients. Incredibly inviting and with a warm, friendly vibe, you’ll feel instantly at home. Specialties include polpette all parmigiana, gnocchi alla gorgonzola and lobster pasta. Don’t be surprised if the owner or fellow diners break into song at some point during the evening!
Set on Shoal Bay, this open-air eatery is an ideal retreat for those seeking a tranquil meal by the beach. The menu features a variety of seafood options, including fresh grilled snapper, conch ceviche and coconut shrimp. With reasonable prices, friendly service and a front-row view of Shoal Bay's mesmerizing beauty, Tropical Sunset is a top choice for a lazy and tasty afternoon (after eating, diners are welcome to use the restaurant’s beach-side loungers for the rest of the day).
