This is a rare Picasso style mid century ceramic sculpture made at the Alfaraz Workshops in Madrid in 1960. This piece was handmade under the direction of 2 of Spain's foremost ceramic artists, Miguel Duran-Loriga and Jesús Martitegui who won the Gold Award at the Munich International Exhibition in 1960. It's a gorgeous figural sculpture of a female with striking green eyes wearing traditional dress. A beautiful contemporary Spanish design to add to your home decor.
