Legendary Chief Calarcá, Regent of the Pijao Indian tribe, lead the fiercest resistance against the Conquistadors during the Spanish Conquest.

The Republic of Colombia celebrates Chief Calarcá with his proud portrait depicted on these vintage diez-centavos coins. Calarcá is also the name given to a city in the department of Quindío, Colombia.

The vintage diez-centavos coins are authentic, circulated currency. They have soft-gray patinas and some beauty marks. The coins are made of a nickel alloy, and about the size of a US dime.

The vintage cabochons are made of glass of midnight blue with flecks of gold and held in brass mounts.

The earwires are surgical steel, soft-gray in color, and hypoallergenic.
