SME ProGea Consulting is a consultancy group (some kind of spin-off company, with about 20 employees and workers), concentrating on the advanced technology like: Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS), Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS), Mobile Laser Scanning technology (MLS); WebMap/WebGIS portals (Open Source and commercial products - Esri), spatial databases (Open Source), Map Services and Portals (INSPIRE), GNSS applications, OBIA (Object Based Image Analysis; eCognition Definiens/Trimble Geospatial) and “traditional pixel” classification of VHRS images (ER Mapper / ERDAS reseller, MobileGIS mapping of vegetation and agricultural, CIR aerial image interpretation (forestry applications), GIS analyses reports and support of National Parks and other Natura 2000 areas in GIS / digital Photogrammetry, UAV imagery, digital Photogrammetry (3D Mapping, stereomatching), GNSS survey, 3D GIS analysis (incl. visualizations of the landscape), environmental projects. The company was founded in 1991 and always cooperate between commercial and research/education customers was important. Overview:

ProGea Consulting was established in 1991. We carry out projects in the field of geoinformatics and we are particulary focused on: LiDAR, GIS (GIS / SIT), GPS, digital photogrammetry, photo interpretation, aerial and satellite remote sensing, information technology in the service of nature and environment. We also develop reports and scientific expertise. We provide our clients solutions and services to the following: LiDAR technology: aerial laser scanning (ALS); terrestrial laser scanning (TLS); mobile laser scanning (MLS). Digital aerial photogrammetry: aerial photo interpretation; orthophoto generation; true orthophoto generation; stereomatching (DSM / DTM). Implementation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS): GIS spatial analysis (2D/3D/4D); DesktopGIS; WebGIS; MobileGIS; create maps to GPS (e.g. forest data); Aerial and satellite remote sensing: delivery of satellite images (RapidEye, GeoEye-1, IKONOS, QuickBird, WorldView-1, WorldView-2); hyperspectral data acquisition from aerial platform; pixel based classification and GEOBIA; creating LULC maps and maps of changes; preparing maps of pervious surface in urban areas (“rainwater tax”); monitoring of forest stands changes (eg windbreaks, gradations of insects); thermal analysis based on remote sensed images.
